Yamaha Motif XS vs XF. Which is better?

Both the Yamaha motif XS and the XF are two amazing keyboards for the average gigging musician or producer. Yamaha motif XF is an upgraded version of the XS so to do a Yamaha motif XS vs XF comparison , in terms of which is better the winner is therefore obvious.

The Yamaha XF has like 741MB wave ROMS while the XS has around 355MB. This means that the XF has more sounds. This leaves the motif XF with 1664 voices and 97 drum kits. But on a serious note,It still has all of the sounds an XS has and who is going to use all the sounds on a motif any way? The motif XS is still a good choice so far if you don't want to spend the extra bucks for a few more sounds.

They both have practically the same features and functionality. What really differentiates them is more memory for sounds and expansion. I have played both keyboards and the XF sounds slightly better than the XS but really its not all that of an obvious difference.

At the end of the day the decision is up to you. It would be good if you could try them out on your own so that you can get a feel of them.
